Introduction

The core mission of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Center at CCU is to establish an open research platform to encourage faculty members in the humanities and social sciences at CCU to participate in cross-disciplinary research and discussions, and to identify common research and ideas and themes in the humanities and social sciences at the university through discussions. We also aim to strengthen or extend the research themes that can be touched by our own professional fields through understanding the research methods and theories of other disciplines.

In addition, we will adopt a progressive strategy to encourage our faculty members to participate from the most basic research groups and to engage in discussions and dialogues on cross-disciplinary research themes, so as to stimulate more new research ideas and concepts, and to combine the efforts of others to gradually focus on new research topics, and to ensure that the field of humanities and social sciences at CCU can continue to diversify and develop, so that more professionally oriented research topics can be developed. This will ensure that the field of humanities and social sciences at CCU will continue to diversify and provide opportunities for more oriented professionals and talents to develop and flourish.
